Setting favicon to Blogger blogs

This article will let you know how to add favicon to blogger. Earlier there was no default favicon option by blogger which lead in writing this article. Now being the feature added, let us know how to add one.

  1. Go to blogger.com Dashboard > Layout
  2. Click Edit near the Favicon section.
  3. In the appearing window, click Browse and choose your favicon.
  4. Save
Few restrictions. What are they?

Who wouldn't love restrictions when the outcome is fruitful?
  1. Blogger says,
Select a favicon file. Please use a square image that's less than 100KB.
Therefore the icon file you upload must be less than 100KB.

Oh my god! I have a file that is more than 100KB. What do I do now?

  2. I personally would recommend Square images. Images of equal width and height so that it looks attractive.

Oh my god! I don't know how to convert my image to Square?

    • Use online image cropping tools to crop your favicon to square.
    • Please do not resize image, rather crop.
